You do not have to wait until you are physically hurt to seek out our services. You and your children are welcome to stay at the Transition House.

We will provide you with a SAFE place to stay, education about abuse, emotional support, referrals, and transportation to the house.

Garbage Days
- Make sure your garbage is wrapped in a black garbage bag.
- Be careful when putting out your garbage, because of the dogs or bears around us.
- Recommended to put it out the night before garbage day or the morning of.
- Pickup is usually around 7:00 AM of that garbage day
Recycling
- Make sure all your cardboard is flattened and in smaller pieces
- Cans or bottles are washed
- All organized for recycling to put away faster and efficiently.
- If you have a lot of stuff for big recycle days, call the band or let Rosanna know.
- Any questions contact the Band, Rosanna or TNRD Merritt Depot.
- All recycling goes to the lower Nicola Depot!

EMERGENCIES - 911
(ACCIDENTS, SPEEDING, CRIME)
When reporting to 911, to create files with the RCMP please make sure you indicated the following:
- What you are reporting or have witnessed
- Where you witnessed
- Date and time the event happened
- Leave a contact number that you can be reached at.
- When calling for an ambulance, state clearly to 911 the house number, street address or road name and clearly that you are located on Coldwater Indian Band Reserve.
